Early 19th Century large gilt gesso and oak frame, baroque, Large 24.5 x 27.5. The frame is very beautiful and is in excellent condition. It has its original patina and has not been cleaned or restored. It also has the original antique glass. It has been in a non-smoking home. The picture in the frame was a valuable French print, but the print was damaged when the Sun shown through the slits of a mini-blind that put two vertical sun streaks in it. It still looks beautiful and could probably be restored but I have not had it accessed.
