How long have you been a vendor at RMA: Since June 2000

Do you specialize in any one type of merchandise or consider yourself an expert in it?
Howard: I have an extensive collection of Chapman Dairy and KC Dairy items from the 1st half of the 20th Century
David: I have been collecting antique sodapop signs, thermometers and tobacco tins for over 25years

What got you into this business?
Howard: The dairy delivered milk to our home and in the 1980’s my mother discovered some of their bottles in our basement, gave them to me and it “took off” from there
David: My interest in signs and tobacco tins “spilled over” into general antiques

What is your “other” occupation?
Howard: I retired from the shawnee mission school district where I was a teacher of math and computer science division coordinator.
David: I’m retired but I volunteer two days a week at a local grade school (I’m in Youth Friends) and do volunteer work at our church

Other than antiques, what other hobbies or interests do you have?
Howard: I have a 1960 Edsel convertible one of 76 made before the Ford Motor Company ceased the Edsel manufacture in November of 1969.
David: My wife and I like to travel. I go fishing when I can. We like to go to the Royals games, watch the chiefs on TV and travel to the various flea markets/antique shows in the area.
